Ziverge — Creators of ZIO

Ziverge is the original creator and primary maintainer of ZIO — the open-source Scala library for type-safe, composable asynchronous and concurrent programming. Our engineers have unmatched depth in the framework's internals, roadmap, and ecosystem. When you open a support ticket, the engineers who respond are the engineers who wrote the code.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What ZIO libraries can be covered?

Coverage applies to libraries from the ZIO GitHub organization — for example ZIO HTTP, ZIO Kafka, ZIO Schema, ZIO Streams, ZIO Config, and ZIO Logging. You select your covered libraries at contract signing. Selections may be changed at annual renewal.

What is out of scope?

Coverage does not include issues caused by customer application code, third-party libraries, or infrastructure (JVM, OS, cloud provider) not attributable to ZIO. General Scala, sbt, or build tooling questions, unsupported ZIO versions, and ZIO ecosystem libraries not in your coverage schedule are also excluded.

What are the customer responsibilities?

Customers agree to submit complete, reproducible issue reports including ZIO version, Scala version, JVM version, minimal reproduction steps, and relevant logs. You will designate named support contacts, respond promptly to Ziverge follow-ups, and maintain a test environment for validating hotfix builds.

How do I get started?

Contact the Ziverge team using the form below. We will schedule an initial call to understand your production environment and ZIO usage, then provide a formal agreement for review.
